Tea, thistles and turf.

Exceptionally this blog is in English because it is a greeting to my newfound friends in Benbecula and elsewhere in the islands. I enjoyed my stay immensely and was moved by the warm welcome in the two houses where I stayed. Annie and Kennie had the Merkið up when I arrived and their hospitality was such that I felt really at home. Alasdair and Jean also went out of their way to make our stay (me and Michael (Blasket guy) as pleasant as possible. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and hope that you’ll enjoy my pictures on the blog. For technical reasons there will be two or more entries with pistures. Please give the adress to people who you think are interested.
